Gissel Batres is a Mexican visual artist creating universes one collage at a time.
Inspired by music, human emotions and the surreality of life, she mixes textures, bold colors and nature elements to bring to life new worlds through her work. In her collages, Gissel works with an intuitive approach around themes such as the exploring of self, mental health and femininity.
"Baby, I Am Free" is a collage inspired by Hayley Williams' song 'Cinnamon'. A celebration of the freedom found in healing and self-love.
